Medipad is the safest way to treat sick pond fish. TAP’s scientists have produced a very clever way of treating sick fish without the risk of overdosing and largely removing the headache of correct diagnosis.
TAP Medipad will treat a broad spectrum of problems including parasites, fungus and bacteria. Used directly in the pond or in a filter box, Medipad comes in one size that may be cut down for smaller ponds.

BACTERIA: Harmful bacteria’s are responsible for frayed fins, red marks, ulcers, mouth infections, swelling and poor behaviour.

FUNGUS: Normally seen as small grey/white tufts or growths on the body and fins. These growths may be random, isolated or in patches. Certain fungi may take a thread-like appearance along the flanks of ornamental fishes including Koi.

PARASITES: Whitespot (small white spots an the body and fins), flukes (Gyrodactylus and Dactylogrus), Costia, Trichodina and Slime Disease. Symptoms of parasite infections are fish flicking on rocks or the bottom of the pond, gasping at the surface, slimy skin, cloudy eyes, raised scales and inflamed gills.
Medipad can be used with all fishes and is harmless to plants and other wildlife.
