The Skimmer from OASE provides for clean surface water. It is particularly suitable for connecting to the Aquamax pump series in combination with a BIOsys-System. It compensates for differences in depth of up to 12 cm. Delivery includes special stepped hose tail for the Skimmer and an additional special stepped hose tail with a 1 ½" union nut for connecting to the pump.

The water that will be filtered is drawn into the filter (skimmed) via the inlet flap. Diferent filter materials ensure biological and mechanical water clarification. The integrated pump moves the cleaned water back into the pond below the water surface.
